![]() Since i have this MBP mid 2012 only upgrades happened, or if anyone else has run into this and found a way to uninstall the bitdefender files i'm all ears. What i am looking for is a way to obtain the mojave installer and then just flatten the HDD clean install. SOPHOS did install and came back claen after scanning.ĭid make a backup of the system, pretty much the only thing that worked. Malwarebytes scans return clean, (and according its own logs it is still updating new definitions, and little snitch seems to connect to legit ips only (im aware that it can be bypassed tho). No patience and time to trouble shoot, so i was trying to re-install Mojave and downloaded the Mojave installer from the appstore, but at the end of the download I get the error message download can't be verified, so this isn't an option either at the moment. I tried to repair disks permissions in Mojave to no avail. ![]() everything seems to be still there.Īlso got a warning that related to a changed signature in bitdefender and the only option was to deny all outgoing connections, cant remember which program warned me here. Macintosh HD->Library->Bitdefender->Central->Agent / Modules etc. Off to the Library i went and had a look there After initiation of the uninstall routine and password confirmation, the program tries to uninstall but runs into an unexpected error, which is displayed as error message, and uninstalling quits upon clicking "close". In the Application folder there is still the Bitdefender folder but only with uninstall link. Bitdefender disappeared after running Onyx for Moajve, Unable to uninstall since Hi,Īfter restart the red Bitdefender Icon had disappeared from the top menu bar.
